Okay, so, today I decided to see if I could put a rubber volleyball on a solid wooden floor. Sounds simple, right? It kinda was, but there were a few little things I played around with.
Getting Started
First, I grabbed my old volleyball. It’s one of those standard rubber ones, nothing fancy. Then, I just found a good spot on my wooden floor. I have this nice, solid wood flooring in my living room, so I figured that would be the perfect place.
The Experiment
I simply placed the volleyball on the floor.
- I pushed down the volleyball on the wooden floor a little to see how much it would bounce. It bounced back up, The floor didn’t really change.
- I dropped the ball from, like, waist height. It bounced pretty good, Made that satisfying “thump” sound you’d expect.
- Then, I really wanted to see and so, I did some experiments.I tried spinning the ball on the floor. It spun, I watched it for a while.
Wrap up
So, that was it. My day checking out a rubber volleyball on a solid wooden floor. Super exciting, I know. It was fun.
